    Please note that this item is for pickup only! Shipping is not available for this item! This auction is for a used Hammary Furniture chess table that comes with glass chess pieces. The table has several labels affixed to it. The labels read in part as follows: HAMMARY FURNITURE. GAME TABLE. 9.99. DATE: 022608. MADE IN PHILIPPINES. T72656-00. We found other Hammary Furniture game tables but none that matched this one. Its base is a tapering octagonal column, almost hourglass-like. Please note that this item will be shipped upside-down for the purpose of stability. We also removed the two drawer handles to prevent them being damaged in transit. The table looks to have a brass chessboard as a magnet did not stick to it. The surface of the chessboard has scratches, wear, fading, discoloration, dings, and ring-type marks that we believe were caused by the glass chess pieces. The bottoms of the chess pieces have glued on felt circle protectors that have become displaced over the years. We believe that the exposed glued areas on the bottom of the pieces are the reason for the small ring marks on the board. The brass board also has some slight lifting on one side though it does still lay flat on the table and could be glued down securely if desired. The glass chess pieces all look to be free of any chips, breaks, or repairs. One set of chess pieces looks to be clear glass and the other set looks to be frosted. The table has different areas throughout that appear to be covered in leather. The leather throughout the table has scratches, nicks, dings, scuffs, wear, cracking, and discoloration. The wooden/pressed wood components also have scratches, nicks, dings, chips, wear, bumped corners, and discoloration. One of the table’s corners also has a good-sized dent and/or crushing to the area. The table has 2 drawers and 2 pull out table extensions. Both the drawers and extensions appear to be in working order. There are some old sticker remnants on one of the extensions and inside one of the drawers. The drawers have brass knobs that look like fists grasping a bar. The extensions have round brass knobs attached to them. The table stands roughly 29 1/4” in height. The top of the table measures roughly 24” x 24”. The actual brass chessboard component measures roughly 19” x 19”. This Hammary Furniture chess table is sure to be a nice addition to your collection or game room.
