Pick either a 2" ball or 1.5" ball. The pictures show the 2 sizes.
These are made for loading either a 54 caliber round ball or sabot.
Round or Pointed Bullets.
I hunt with a Renegade and Hawken Muzzle Loader, so I know what's required for proper loading. Fits the hand perfectly.
The brass jag is 1.25" long. There is a solid brass insert in the wood balls. Both have 10-32 threads.
The removable solid brass jag can also be used for cleaning your barrel
. Attach to your ram rod with 10-32 threads.
This fits easily in a possibles bag. Looks and works better than a cheap plastic starter made in some other country.
I hand make these in my small wood shop in the back yard one at a time.
Each one has 2 coats of Danish Oil hand dubbed on them.
No two of these are the same due to the different in the grain of the wood. Some come out light and some dark.
