    Here is something new that I have come up with made special for pier fishing, The thing that makes this gaff different than others is that fact that you do not need to worry about where the hook is when hooking the fish, you simply get the fish up to the surface and slide the gaff behind them with a hook diameter of 3 1/2 inches and razor sharp hooks getting those 30 pound plus fish in is no problem.
    This gaff is made from 1/4" thick solid round steel and welded together
    Weighs about 7oz
    I also make a large one of these with a 5 inch diameter hook, hook gap is about 1 1/2 inches
